So what did you do over Memorial Day weekend? Well, I spent the better part of Monday working on my much dreaded Embryo Lab presentation. I “chose” to present on the comparative anatomy of a pig’s kidney systems and its correlation to humans.
Fun stuff, huh? I know your dying to learn more, so for your viewing pleasure.
Next week, I’ve got to finish the take home “final” project which entails writing up a grant proposal and choosing the appropriate animal model for the assignment. Please, curb your enthusiasm. I’m jazzed about this one though because it is the final assignment in my last class before starting dental school. Yeah!
So, how are your classes going? Comments?
Now play your Piggie PowerPoint Presentations nicely.

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been listening to music everywhere thanks to my new iPod. There’s something about listening to music through a set of earbuds that makes it seem much more intimate. I purchased the new Ben Harper album, Diamonds on the Inside, a few weeks back and have fallen in love with it again these past few days. I’m also jazzed to have tickets to see Ben and Jack Johnson in concert at the Hollywood Bowl in August. Awesome lineup, awesome venue, should make for an awesome evening. I like the word awesome. Awesome.
If you haven’t heard the new album, do yourself a favor and buy a copy–or better yet download it for $9.99 from the Apple Music Service.
Now go play your Ben Harper nicely…
So, I broke the cardinal rule of blogging. You have to post! Life has been
so busy lately. Just seemed like my blog kept getting put off by other priorities.
So, loyal jeffcarter.net readers (welcome new members), here’s a brief synopsis
of what you’ve missed since my last post.

mice
- Stonebraker finally got his Zen back from Creative
- My side project twojeffs.net finally took on a new life thanks to movabletype.org
and some old-fashioned blood, sweat and tears.
- Misty got a stone.
- Misty threw up–a lot.
- Misty passed a stone.
- Received approximately 2,800 boxes of Cadbury Creme Eggs sent in by loyal
jeffcarter.net readers–I’m flattered.
