Is there anything better than being home again? I took advantage of some vacation time to travel home to see the folks and am really enjoying myself. Misty and I have been hitting our normal hometown favorites and visiting with old friends. Oh and its actually summer out here! Loma Linda had seen one too many “June-Gloom” days for this California boy. With temps in the 90’s, it feels like late June in the Bake.

Today was also WWDC. For those with a life outside of technology, it was Apple Computer’s big day to show off their latest and greatest. Stone and I enjoyed receiving text updates live from the conference via IRC. Collaborating in a text only environment for over 2 hours had a very Matrix-like feel to it. As for the conference, I am sorry to announce that Apple insists on introducing new technologies that are very hard on the pocket book. Why the inovation, Mr. Jobs, why? I’ve been looking for a reason to sell the Dell notebook that I am writing this post on, but with no new notebook offerings I’ll probably settle for a nicely priced iBook. For those looking forward to Gallery updates, I’ve added a new Vegas album chronicling the Summer 2003 trip and a few shots from the Graduation season. I’ll soon be uploading a large portion of my photo library to the site, but will be limiting access to the Friends & Family section to…well…friends and family.
