Is there anything more annoying than telemarketers? I can honestly say that telemarketing has caused me to abandon my traditional phone line. With roughly 75% of my calls being “phone spam”, I have abandoned the days of making phone calls via the Local Telco. Instead, I’m doing what so many others are doing…using my cell phone exclusively!
There is one small glimmer of hope! Last week, the FCC activated the National Do Not Call Database. Now, you can go to their site and add you name to the millions of others who do not wish to be awakened at 7am on a Saturday morning by someone wanting to sell you a brand new satellite system.
Now, if only we could do something about all this spam.
