The second California stop on the 2003 Tour was once again held at the aforementioned Home Depot Center. Excitement was very high for this show as the guys put on an amazing set the previous night. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of witnessing a “back-to-back” DMB show, let me explain. Both the band and the fans alike realize that these shows are meant to be viewed as a collective. That is, night one is really just Part 1 or Disc 1, if you will. So, it was fitting that the guys ended “Night 1″ with “Stay” and delievered it as an admonition to fans to return for the conclusion.

Last night was the band’s first stop in CA for the Summer 2003 Tour. The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA played host to the guys and their myriad of loyal fans. We arrived at the Home Depot Center around 6:30pm and found that our Warehouse Member Parking Passes came in quite handy. These little passes saved us $15 in parking cost and got us into the premium parking area. Nice touch, Warehouse Ticketing.

Misty’s kid sister is in town for the aforementioned Summer Tour and we’re headed out for the Newport Beach night life. I’m asking you…is there anything better than dinner at The Cheesecake Factory followed by south coast style nightlife? Let the fun begin.
More to come…
I’ve loved Radiohead for years. Having the priviledge of watching their musical evolution over the past 10 years has been awesome. From the early days of “the bends” to the inspired “hail to the their”, Thom Yorke and mates consistently create some of today’s finest music.
Needless to say, I am thrilled to have tickets to their San Diego show in September. Radiohead’s U.S. Tour stops are rare and usually consist of a few L.A. stops and a couple of NY stops. So, despite annual attempts to secure tickets, this year marks my first success. Indeed.
Wow. Five DMB shows, the Roots, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, and Radiohead. This has shaped up to be an incredible tour season.
Now…spin your radiohead nicely…
It’s that time of year again, kids. The band’s Summer tour is headed to the Golden State and your’s truly will be in attendance. I’ve added a page committed to my experiences/impressions of the shows and will be updating it after each show…so check back often and see if you can find yourself a ticket or two on eBay.

Just wanted to send a quick “Happy Birthday” to my good friend, Scott. Scott and I have been best friends since sophmore year in college (1997). Life has had many up’s and down’s, but good friends remain the same.
Here’s wishing you happiness and success, Scott.
For what its worth, I’ve found that Mozilla provides me the best possible browsing experience. Integrating tabbed browsing, efficient bookmarking, and overall speed, Mozilla has quickly become my default browser.
For those tired of Internet Explorer’s vulnerabilities and limitations, there are many alternatives. Chris talked about many of them in his blog, today. However, all of these either add-on to the Explorer engine or give it a prettier face. Mozilla brings you back to the Netscape engine you trusted the first time you used the web. Give them all a try and see which fits your needs best.
So, what browser has the coveted position on your desktop?
Today, I’m celebrating my nation’s independence by hanging out in the aforementioned warm weather of Bakersfield. My parents have been setting up their new spa area and we’ve been enjoying the relaxation that can only come from a nice cool spa.
Now, for some suffering-free barbeque foods…
Happy Fourth!
For you fellow bloggers who make use of weblogs.com, will really dig this site. BlogChatter is basically a real-time streaming version of weblogs.com. Thanks to Chris for pointing out this nice piece of blogging evolution.
So, do you have big plans for the 4th? Finally, the 4th falls on a Friday, meaning just about everyone gets a 3-day weekend. The girlfriend and I are going to go back home and see the folks and bask in the infamous Bakersfield triple digit temperatures.
On the way out of L.A., Misty and I listened to Weezer’s sophmoric effort, Pinkerton, courtesy of iPod. Most people hated this album, but die-hard fans will tell you that Pinkerton was some of River Cuomo’s most intimate writings. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy and enjoy.

Last night, I re-watched Old School with Misty and my old buddy Scott. I was once again reminded the Will Ferrell is the funniest human being on the planet. If you haven’t seen Old School or just haven’t watched it in a while, do yourself a favor and pick it up on the cheap.
So what’s your favorite Ferrell moment?
