so tomorrow evening, mandy, leanne, brandon and i are driving into burbank to watch two tapings of last call w/ carson daily. (yes that carson daly). why the fuck would you purposely travel someplace to see carson daly, you may ask?

ben harper.

ben’s going to be the musical guest all next week on last call and the tapings are being held over two-days this week. in the past, ben’s performances on last call have been pretty amazing. we’re hoping to hear what amounts to a 4-6 song setlist in a very small venue (100 people max).

how bad ass is that?

    So I have a confession. Well, two, actually.
    A) I too have gone to see Carson Daly tape a show. Unfortuntely the musical guest was not nearly as cool as Ben Harper. It was Guster. Oh, what a foolish college student I used to be.
    B) I worked on his New Year’s Show here in NYC.

    He’s a tool.

Yes, he’s a tool; Yes, he dated Tara Reid (and Jennifer Love); Yes, he blackberrys Fred Durst (of Limp Biz-kit, the world’s worst band)all day (a crime that even my bleeding heart can’t overlook); but, let’s face facts. He sits on a couch and talks to cool people like Sarah Silverman, Ben Harper, Jonathan Schwartz, etc…while gettin’ paid for it. So…he’s better than me, dood.

    There is no way in hell that I am going to sit hear and listen to you say that Carson Daly is better than you. Just because he dated the pre-skank Tara Reid and interviews celebrities that dosen’t mean he isn’t a fuck wad. And at last check, you are not a fuck wad. So you have that on him. I just have to believe that the only reason that Ben harper, et. al. are on his show is because of Hollywood media deals. Its not their fault. I bet they would love the chance to cock-punch him like Jeff will do tomorrow.

    so i just got back from the taping. despite the studios trying to convince us otherswise, carson really needs to be kicked in the canoe. more on that later…

    sis…carson better than you? stone cleared that one up for both of us.

    yeah so ben harper is amazing, carson daly is less than ordinary. full blog action on its way…for now i’m tired from all of the forced clapping.
