It seems that the kids over at google are finally showing a little love to the mac faithful by launching a mac version of their video player. Now I can watch google video til my head explodes.

so in case you’re doubting how spectacular my trip to south beach was, behold these photos…
so i’m home safe and sound from my week long trip to south beach, fl.
in case you’re just joining us, i was invited to speak at a biomedical conference and UCLA was kind enough to foot the bill for the week long trip.
i flew in on memorial day as south beach was in the midst of a crazy party. apparently there was some sort of hip-hop awards show going on and so the hip-hop crowd was there in full force. this of course meant that i fit in per-fect-ly.
my talk was scheduled for thursday which meant that i had plenty of time to enjoy south beach prior to the big day. i’m happy to say that the talk went off wonderfully and i have once again fooled another unsuspecting crowd of scientists/doctors into believing that i have a fuck clue what’s going on in cancer research.
hearing other people talk about your research is a.) exciting b.) rewarding and c.) scary as hell.
so i managed to snap a few hundred pictures and am putting together a little flickr set right now. i appreciate everyone sticking around while i was away…now to get back into the swing of things.
