on friday night, brandon and i went out to the claremont folk music festival for the ben harper show.
i had mixed results w/ the photos i snapped in the darkness of bridges auditorium. luckily, the official site had plenty of professional shots to enjoy.
the setlist was one of the most comprehensive and lengthiest sets (over 3hrs) i’ve ever heard ben play. it was essentially broken up into three sets: full-band acoustic, solo acoustic, and full-band electric.
throughout the concert, ben kept talking about how good it was to be back home and to get to play to his old friends. he debuted two new songs (“Fool For a Lonesome Train” & “Lifeline”) from this summer’s forthcoming acoustic album, “Lifeline”.
