In memory of 9/11/2001
Because six years have passed but tears still stream down my face.I was about to turn 18, back in 2001.
We celebrated a classmate’s birthday earlier in the morning, then after getting back from school to my mum’s office the news on the radio started talking about “an accident in New York”.
I wasn’t able to see anything until later in the evening, since we didn’t have a TV set in the office.
I was horrified.
And I still am, in a way.
