the iPhone 3G’s battery sucks…HARD

so if you’re like me, you ran your sexy-self down to the apple store on friday the 11th and waited in line for 5 hours for the new iPhone 3g. also, if you and i are indeed doppelgangers then you picked the white 16gb version and also have a puggle named buster…and great hair.

so the iPhone 3G is great. the app store, gps and 3G (when you can find it) is a winning combo for apple and those crooks at AT&T. that being said, the battery blows balls. big hairy ones.

in a given day, i usually go from a full-overnight-charge to my first low battery warning by around 3pm. weak.

earlier this week i heard that if you switch off the “ask to join networks” tab in your network settings, you can squeak out a little more precious lithium power. turns out this little tip has worked wonders for me…apparently making the wifi content to only join my trusted networks has given me a roughly 25% boost in battery life. this gives me ample time to answer each and everyone of my bootie calls.
