the worst part about being sick last week was that i missed out on blogging about the pope’s visit to the US. luckily, bill maher was in top form when commenting on pope-o-mania.

this video has caused all sorts of controversy and the kids at the catholic league have their robes all in a bunch over bill’s comments b/c the truth hurts like a son of a bitch.

my favorite line: “…cults get raided, religions get parades. how does the catholic church get away with all of their buggery? volume! volume! volume!”

so does anyone want to explain to me and the rest of the interweb why a utah polygamist group is any worse than the catholic church?

without a doubt, the greatest part about living in the age of technology is that one can completely forget that ‘real time w/ bill maher‘ is back from hiatus only to find that one’s faithful DVR has the episode safely recorded for one’s viewing pleasure at one’s convenience.
